     Moorestown, a community of approximately 15 square miles in Burlington county is conveniently located 30 minutes from the Liberty Bell & Independence Hall in Philadelphia and 100 minutes from the Ellis Island & Statute of Liberty and New York City. Moorestown is also conveniently located close to the Philadelphia International Airport, the Philadelphia Sports Complex, the famous New Jersey Shore beaches and the Atlantic City gambling resorts.

     With almost one-sixth of the entire population of the US located within a 100-mile radius of Moorestown it is a quiet haven from the big cities, with a tree-lined half mile long Main Street with quaint stores, coffee shops, library, Community House, and fine schools. 

     Moorestown's beautiful collection of lakes and parks provides plenty of outdoor fun and relaxation for young and old. There are public playgrounds, tennis courts, athletic fields, and specialty shops, as well as the Field Club, Community House, swimming pool, art gallery, theater, playhouse, and library. A skate board park was added in the last few years which is quickly becoming world famous. Full sports and cultural organizations are available with which to become affiliated. Main Street offers a pleasant shopping excursion among restored colonial establishments which offer a wide range of goods and services.

History - This Quaker town was established over 300 years ago (First settled in 1682 by Quakers ) making it one of the oldest communities in New Jersey. The Friends meeting House , built in 1700, still remains a focal point for the developing community and stands in the center of town.
